No One Should Go Hungry in Our Community – You Can Help
Dear Friends and Supporters,
Thank You for Helping Us Surpass Our Goal!
Interfaith Food Ministry (IFM) is proud to share two pieces of exciting news: we’ve been voted Best Nonprofit in Nevada County, and thanks to your incredible generosity, we surpassed our $190,000 fundraising goal during the May Matching Campaign!
This success is a powerful reminder of what our community can accomplish when we come together. Every dollar raised will go directly toward feeding local families, seniors, and individuals facing food insecurity, stretching four to five times further through IFM’s food rescue efforts, wholesale purchasing, and strong partnerships.
Our food rescue program alone recovers tens of thousands of pounds of perfectly good food each month, keeping it out of landfills and getting it to those who need it most. And with over 90% of our work powered by dedicated volunteers, your support has an even greater impact.
“Our clients are your neighbors, working families, seniors on fixed incomes, and individuals facing unexpected hardships,” said Victoria Lindsay, IFM’s Marketing & Communications Manager. “Thanks to you, we can continue showing up with food and hope, when it’s needed most.”
As one client put it, “It’s more than just food—it’s knowing someone cares.”
Thank you for helping us fight hunger and bring hope to our community. We couldn't do it without you.
With gratitude,
IFM Staff and Board of Directors
